About Us

Relaxed. That is probably the best word to describe Quinns. We value openness and opportunity & we try hard to understand one another so that we can work together to see God's love expressed. Our Sunday meetings vary from week to week based on which ministry team is serving. We have multiple worship teams, some acoustic in style, band teams (drums & the works) and we regularly worship with Hymns by the piano. Some weeks we may skip music altogether and have a shared meal. We also value team teaching and have a number of excellent teachers in our church family. 

Our open and relaxed approach to church doesn't mean we are not serious about the stuff that matters. As part of the Baptist Churches movement in Western Australia we hold the central truths of our faith firmly. You can follow this link to our shared statement of faith. With that in mind, we are quite open to a range of views when it comes to less central matters. If you decide to throw in with us you may have to get comfortable with folks who believe different things about the age of the earth, which Bible translation we ought to use, spiritual gifts & who can perform what role in a church. You get the idea. 

If a church that welcomes people from all backgrounds, doesn't mind a little mess and noise yet is serious about seeing God's love known near and far interests you, you'll probably fit right in.
